Matt - Professional Driving Instructor (South Liverpool)

Matt is a fantastic instructor! He’s really patient and explains everything very clearly and can’t thank him enough for helping me pass.

I thoroughly recommend Matt as a driving instructor! I was really anxious when I started, but Matt was kind, patient and really bolstered my confidence. He used a lot of diagrams, which helped me as I have ADHD and sometimes struggle to process verbal directions, and followed a robust curriculum that has left me feeling confident to tackle any situation I might come across driving. After any mistakes I made, he'd take the time to explain what happened and how to correct and we'd keep going over things until it clicked. He focused heavily on safety and "real world" defensive driving, as opposed to how to simply pass the test. It's also important to mention that as a woman, I always felt safe and at ease with Matt. We had some great chats whilst driving and I always looked forward to my lesson! I passed with 2 minors and am so grateful to have had Matt as my instructor! Highly recommend! Thank you for everything :).

The lessons I had from Matt were always beneficial from start to end. When starting lessons I was quite nervous. However, with Matts advice and tips, I believe my confidence improved massively. I always felt comfortable asking questions during lessons and Matt’s answers would be great. From this the lessons provided were fantastic because Matt teaches you how to be safe and confident. This then made me feel prepared when taking my test. Therefore if you are looking for a driving instructor who is passionate about driving, makes lessons enjoyable, is patient and flexible and wants you to succeed then I would highly recommend.

Matt is an excellent instructor, reliable and punctual, that offers a variety of lessons to prepare you for both the exam and daily driving. You will start driving from day 1 and the lessons will be tailored to what you want so it is great value for money compared to other instructors, but I would follow his recommendations. 5 stars!
